The M.E.C.H. Clan is a hybrid-DAO solution that operates primarily as a business. The organization has a more centralized hierarchical design by virtue of using Lore's co-ownership platform and boasts a distinct governance framework that is decentralized without sacrificing executability or security. Multi-Signature Vaults fall on the opposite side of the spectrum and are less flat than their typical DAO counterparts. However, their speed allows them to move faster which is necessary in the early life cycle of a project where nimble decision-making is critical.

Signatories are the authoritative figures of the clan charged with upholding the Constitutional Charter. They have a higher degree of accountability and are tasked with ensuring that the rights of members and stakeholders are safeguarded. It is also mandatory as a Signer to own a Mech and be invested in the Clan to guarantee interests are aligned. Pure democratic systems of governance are one of the least effective ways of running a successful business which is why we have opted for a centralized leadership model with accompanying MIPs for effective consensus building and a progressive decentralization strategy. Our hybrid model distributes power evenly and distributes ownership fairly.
